ReletRelet Docs

Quick Start

Launch your Relet workspace with a controlled setup sequence.

Use this quick start to bring a new workspace online without creating broken relations or billing errors.

Quick start illustration

Before you start

Prepare these inputs before configuration so setup stays uninterrupted.

  1. Organization profile details and billing owner contacts.
  2. Property list with standardized naming and location data.
  3. Tenant and vendor contact records with validated communication fields.
  4. Initial billing catalog with recurring and optional usage charges.

First-week setup sequence

Run these steps in order because each step depends on the previous one.

Create or join the organization and confirm role access.
Create properties and units using your naming standard.
Create contacts and verify required identity and communication fields.
Send one tenant portal invitation and validate account activation.
Create leases and attach billables before issuing documents.
Generate first documents and verify totals on a controlled record.
Set user roles, security settings, and notification defaults.

Day-one validation checks

Use these checks before onboarding additional users.

Every lease links to a valid unit and tenant contact, and key records are searchable by expected identifiers.

A controlled draft-to-paid cycle completes successfully without manual correction.

One maintenance request can be created, assigned, updated, and closed with complete notes.

Tenant portal launch check

Validate tenant self-service before go-live so residents can access the portal without support intervention.

Create a tenant contact with a valid email address.
Send Send Portal Invitation from the tenant contact row actions.
Open the invitation email and complete account setup flow.
Confirm the tenant lands in the portal and can view lease and document data.

Mistakes to avoid

These mistakes cause the largest amount of downstream correction effort.

Next steps

  1. Continue with Properties.
  2. Run tenant onboarding with Tenant portal.
  3. Configure governance with Settings.
  4. Prepare incident handling with Troubleshooting.
